The Maryville City Schools Foundation will hold a live auction at its Starlight Awards on Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Capitol Theatre.
“Anyone who is planning to attend the event can bid on these items,” said Barbara Jenkins, MCSF executive director. “All proceeds from the auction will support the Maryville City Schools Foundation to benefit the Maryville City Schools.”
The live auction items include:
• A five-course meal from acclaimed chef John Fleer. Former Blackberry Farm long-time chef, John Fleer, who earned both Relais Gourmand designation for the restaurant and two James Beard Award nominations, will prepare a five-course meal for six to 10 people in the home of the highest bidder. He will consult with the winner about the preferred menu and wines. He will provide the food as well as prepare it before his audience. Minimum bid: $1,500.
• Accommodations in Destin, Fla. Enjoy an off-season week of accommodations in Destin, Fla., at a beautiful ocean-front condo located at the Silver Dunes. Amenities include two bedrooms and sleeper sofa, two baths, washer and dryer, tennis courts and swimming pool. Minimum bid: $750
• Dinner and one night accommodations for four at Dancing Bear Lodge.
