Lisa Bryant was named the Blount County Circuit Court Clerk’s “Employee of the Year” at an Employee Appreciation Breakfast held at the Justice Center.
Bryant has been with the office for 22 years and has been in the Juvenile Division of the Circuit Court Clerk’s office since November of 2003.
In her nomination, it was said, “Lisa stands out as a role model for other employees. Her dependability, integrity, work ethic, quantity and quality of work make her very deserving to receive the honor of “Employee of the Year.”
Bryant was very honored and surprised to receive the award. “I would like to say ‘Thank you’ to Mr. (Tom) Hatcher for giving me the opportunity to serve the citizens of Blount County for the past 22 years and for making my time here so enjoyable.”
Nominations for “Employee of the Year” are accepted by an administrative committee from fellow employees. The committee meets and narrows the nomination down to two people and Hatcher makes the final decision. Bryant was given the day off from work, a plaque and a certificate. Her name was added to a plaque outside the Circuit Court Clerk’s office with the names of previous recipients.
