Catherine W. Anglin and Taylor A. Williams recently joined the law firm of Paine, Tarwater, and Bickers, LLP as associates.
Williams, a graduate of Maryville High School, received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, graduating with honors. He received his law degree from The University of Tennessee College of Law in 2009, graduating with high honors. While in law school, he was a staff member of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business and received the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Medal of Excellence in Bankruptcy in recognition of his course work.
Anglin, who has family in Blount County, received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from Georgia Tech and her law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law with honors in 2009. She was a member of the Tennessee Law Review and the Environmental Law Moot Court team and completed the Business Transaction Concentration. Prior to beginning her legal career, she was an environmental scientist and oversaw contract compliance on a post-Hurricane Katrina levee rebuilding project south of New Orleans.
