Elizabeth Dugger has been named the new director of marketing and sponsorship sales at the Clayton Center for the Arts, said Robert Hutchens, executive director.
Dugger, who brings more than 10 years of marketing experience to the position, joined the Clayton Center staff on Nov. 29. In her new role, she will manage the Center’s marketing, communications and sponsorship opportunities, as well as play an instrumental role in future program planning.
“Elizabeth brings a high level of expertise to the Center in many important areas, from business growth to strategic marketing and brand development,” Hutchens said. “Her role
will be invaluable as we expand the Center’s program schedule and opportunities, foster community relations and continue to provide a state of the art facility for students to practice, study and perform art.”
Before joining the Clayton Center for the Arts, Dugger was the director of development and education for the Barker Sleep Institute, where she managed marketing, advertising, sales and business initiatives.
Prior to the Barker Sleep Institute, she served as the marketing manager for MasterCraft Boat Company and was responsible for developing and managing the company’s advertising and marketing efforts.
Dugger is a graduate of the University of Tennessee atKnoxville, where she earned a bachelor’s degree is sport management, a minor in business and concentration in marketing.
She and her husband, Cory, and daughter, Grier, reside in Maryville.
