The Knoxville Convention Center has promoted three employees in its sales and marketing department. These experienced team members have a combined 23 years of experience at the center.
Rebecca Williams, a sales manager with the Knoxville Convention Center since 2002, was recently named senior sales manager. She will work with the national associations and hobby markets. She and husband Alan live in South Knoxville and have five grown children.
Monica Flatford has been named sales manager for the Knoxville Convention Center and will focus on the Tennessee, sports and religious markets. The former marketing manager, Flatford has been with the convention center for nine years. She and husband Lynn live in the Gibbs area with son Landon, 13, and daughter Mackenzie, 6.
Brian Cox has been promoted to sales and marketing coordinator, handling contracts, deposits, Web inquiries, promotional materials and trade shows. With 13 years in the events industry, Cox began working at the Knoxville Convention Center in 2004 as an administrative assistant for sales. He lives in Maryville with wife Jilaine, son Joshua, 12, and daughter Rachel, 9.
