Heritage High School ace Miranda Hurst signed a National Letter of Intent recently to continue her softball career at Cleveland State Community College next season. Hurst posted 3.51 earned run average and hit .294 at the plate for the Lady Mountaineers last season as a junior. Hurst compiled a 3-to-1 strikeouts to walks ratio over the last two seasons. The Lady Cougars just seemed the right fit during an official visit, Hurst said.

“I went down for the visit and I loved the campus,” she said. I just felt like that was the place I wanted to be.”
