Welcome Spring

Eagleton Middle School hosts community for Spring Fling

It has just been a long time coming, but the air is finally warmer, the sunshine brighter and the wait seems over for Spring season to finally start greening up the world. The students, parents and faculty at Eagleton Middle School were more than ready to do a little celebrating to welcome the new season.

Spring Fling at Eagleton was a partnership with the school and Dr. Walt Pluznyk and Blount Chiropractic Center. Spring Fling started at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, and concluded at 6 p.m. The children enjoyed a host of activities, including an Easter Egg hunt, while adults kept a watchful eye and chatted with neighbors.

Festivities included a mechanical bull, roping, pony rides, hunting for Easter eggs, car bash, inflatables, petting zoo, cake walk, balloon art, baseball throw, drunk driving simulator, sheep shearing, massages, $5 haircuts and more.

Grand prize egg was free Chick-fil-A for a year.
