Foothills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Foothills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will meet on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Everett Senior Center at 702 Burchfield St. in Maryville for a service entitled “Rock of Doubt.” The work of Sydney Carter will be the lens through which we consider the process of creative questioning that forms the foundation of faith. Fairview United Methodist On Saturday, Sept. 19, the church’s Learning Tree Preschool will host its 2nd Annual “Festival of Fruit,” a children’s carnival celebrating the Fruits of the Spirit with games and prizes for everyone, a dunking booth, popcorn, sno-cones, a cake walk, bouncy castles, pizza, cotton candy and more. First United Methodist Church First United Methodist Church will be presenting several support groups this fall:

Just Moved, a Bible study committed to the spiritual growth and emotional well-being of women who are going through the transition of moving to a new community. The goal is to strengthen and minister to the family through Biblical teaching, providing hope and encouragement as well as fellowship with other women new to the community. Facilitated by Mary Kay Hamlin. The class will be held on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. for 13 weeks beginning on September 23.

DivorceCare, a divorce recovery support group, is a place to find caring people who understand the issues faced by anyone going through a divorce. Facilitated by Ginny West Case. The group will be held on Sundays at 6 p.m. for 13 weeks beginning on September 27.

Bethel Missionary Baptist The pastoral anniversary of Rev. Ralph J. Miller, Jr., and Gloria Miller is being celebrated at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 537 W. Hall Rd, Alcoa.
