Sitting quietly on River Road in Townsend, St. Francis Catholic Church brings the community together for a variety of activities during the year. None is more important in the life of the church and the community than the fall festival at St. Francis.
Held each fall, the festival features a blessing of the animals, a white elephant sale, bake sale, old-fashion games, prizes and activities for the children.
