Clayton Center issues RFP for on-site café, snack shop

A Request for Proposal has been issued for anyone wanting to run the on-site café/snack shop space in the new Clayton Center for the Arts, which is currently under construction on the Maryville College campus.

All interested parties should complete the application process no later than Nov. 30, 2009. On-site interviews and vendor reference checks will be held from Dec. 20 until Jan. 22, 2010, with an announcement about the selected provider being made public in early February. Located just off the beautiful outdoor plaza, the café space totals approximately 1,000 square feet.

“We are hopeful that this area will be a unique space that both students and community members will want to frequent,” stated Holly Jackson Ludlow, vice president of advancement and community relations for Maryville College. “We are looking for creative food choices, décor and marketing plans as part of these proposals.”
