The headliner for the 2009 Foothills Fall Festival is country music star Alan Jackson who will close out Saturday night of the festival on Oct. 17.
Jackson is one of a trio of stars who will highlight the festival’s 10th year. Classic rock band Kansas will close out Friday night, Oct. 16, and East Tennessee native and country star Rodney Atkins is Sunday, Oct. 18, closer.
Closer to home, Alcoa’s Jackie Midkiff, who was an American Idol contestant, will open Sunday’s entertainment. Other entertainment includes The Little River Band, Chris Young, Justin Moore and the Trailer Choir.
The 10th annual Foothills Fall Festival will be Oct. 16, 17 and 18 at the Theater in the Greenbelt Park. Tickets for this year’s festival will go on sale July 24 and will be available at the Maryville Municipal Center, Blount County branches of First Tennessee and GreenBank, as well as through Tickets Unlimited. Tickets can also be charged by phone by calling 865-656-4444 or ordered online at knoxvilletickets.com.
For a limited time, tickets for the three-day festival will be $40. A limited number of reserved seats at a higher price will be available through Tickets Unlimited. More information about reserved ticket sales including seating charts will be available via the www.foothillsfallfestival.com website on July 1.
Only the concert area of the festival require tickets. Admission to the Foothills Fall Festival Arts and Crafts area and Children’s Adventure Land is free.
