Tim Daley, an Alcoa High School graduate, has been appointed vice president of Global Sales and Distribution Effectiveness with a Franklin Lakes, N.J., company.
At BD Diagnostic, Daley will work with regional and national leaders to strengthen selling and distribution practices.
Daley, son of Tim and Sally Daley of Maryville, graduated from Alcoa High School in 1978 and received the bachelor of science degree from East Tennessee State University in 1982. He joined BD (Becton, Dickinson and Co.) in 1985 as a field sales representative in Virginia and Ohio.
BD is a global medical technology company focused on improving drug delivery, enhancing the diagnosis of infectious diseases and cancer and advancing drug discovery. BD also develops, manufactures and sells medical supplies, devices, laboratory instruments, antibodies, reagents and diagnostic products.
Daley has held marketing positions in New Jersey and Maryland.
Daley and his family also lived in London, England, in 2003, where he served as director of European sales for two years. He was then appointed country business director for the United Kingdom and Ireland with pre-analytical systems until 2007.
Daley transitioned to acting European marketing director until 2008 and is currently the Western European director of marketing.
