Heritage High students set for national competition

Two Heritage High School seniors will travel to Nashville Sunday to represent their school in a national competition for their Family, Career and Community Leaders of America class.

Faith Graham and Haley Taylor will travel with teacher Linda Goins to participate in the competition at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel.

Goins said Taylor and Graham will be vie for the title in the Interpersonal Communication competition. The pair did well in both the district and state competition, the last of which also was held in Nashville in April. Goins said her students will face competition from every state in the country as well as Puerto Rico.
