Lonnie Witt is Blount Memorial Hospital’s June employee of the month. A six-year employee of the hospital, Witt works as an HVAC apprentice in the hospital’s facilities management department.
His supervisor says, “Lonnie is hard-working and a go-the-extra-mile and get-the-job done worker. He has a positive attitude toward work, an excellent work ethic, and works well with others. He also cares about the health and comfort of all patients.”
When asked what he likes best about his job, Witt says, “learning the different jobs of maintenance.”
Outside of Blount Memorial, the Rockford resident loves to spend time with his wife, children and granddaughter. He says he also is blessed “to still have my mom around to keep me in line.”
