The Blount County Democratic Women’s Club will hold its annual summer Hot Dog Picnic in the Park.
The picnic will be 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday July 7 at the pavilion in Pearson Springs Park, located at 1467 Montvale Station Road.
The event will include free hot dogs and all the trimmings along with a covered dish dinner provided by the members of the Democratic Women’s Club.
The public is invited to attend.
A silent auction will be held during the event benefiting the Women’s Club. The special guest speaker for the event will be Bill Landry the voice, host/narrator, and co-producer of “The Heartland Series,” which airs on the NBC affiliate in Knoxville.
