The “Princess Enchanted Evening” was an event for little girls to enjoy the royal treatment all while helping fund the cancer research.
On May 15, Bebe Salon hosted a “Princess Enchanted Evening from 6 to 8 p.m. The results were significant as all money raised benefited the Blount County Relay for Life effort.
For $15, girls were treated to manicures, light makeup and hair styling, plus refreshments and a time of fun, fellowship and makeovers.
The 2009 Relay for Life chair Dave Bennett said this event was one of many Relay for Life activities held throughout Blount County this spring. “We are well over $300,000. The great thing about Relay is that it is not just a one-night event. Just like cancer affects people 24-hours a day, seven days a week, Relay goes on year round. All these events people are having go toward raising money, and that will eventually cure cancer.”
Bebe Salon is located at 1714 W. Broadway Ave., in Maryville.
