Maryville’s Amedisys celebrates Home Health Care month

Maryville Mayor Tom Taylor helped the folks at Amedisys Home Health celebrate National Home Health Care and Hospice Month on Thursday, Nov. 12, as the guest at a reception and proclamation signing at the Foothills Mall Drive office.

The National Association for Home Care and Hospice sponsors the special month each year to bring attention to home-delivered health care and the men and women who work in the industry. Statistics show that more than 7.5 million Americans receive daily home-delivered health care, and there are nearly one million caregivers. Each November, the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) celebrates National Home Care and National Hospice Month to honor the men and women who have dedicated their lives to caring for others
