Hometown Christmas opens with H.O.M.E. at Martin Luther Center

The Martin Luther King, Jr., Community Center kicked off Blount County’s first Hometown Christmas event the Saturday after Thanksgiving with H.O.M.E. for Christmas.

H.O.M.E. for Christmas began with light refreshments and music, followed by the lighting of the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center tree. The children were delighted to see Santa and participate in all the activities and fellowship that brings the community “H.O.M.E” for Christmas. The grand finale was the lighting of the Martin Luther Community Center trees.

H.O.M.E. for Christmas is sponsored by Parks & Rec and Blount Today.
