A Secret Safe Place for Newborns of Tennessee gathered a collection of vendors in the old Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church, Maryville, for a fund raising event that combined shopping with distributing information about the non-profit.
Area vendors, including Gourds by Emily, Thirty-One, Blackberry Beads, Wilma’s Creations, Southern Living at Home, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, and others, stocked holiday items to get the Christmas season off to a good start as well as gift items for the home and personal use. A Secret Safe Place for Newborns of Tennessee had a booth to pass out information to those attending about the mission of the non-profit, which is to provide a safe haven for newborns who might be abandoned by their mothers.
