This recipe will surprise you. It’s a new twist to an old favorite and is flavored with Kool-Aid! The black cherry Kool-Aid tartness makes a wonderful combination with the sweetness of the marshmallow crème.
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
1 package 10 or 12 oz. Nestles white chocolate chip morsels
1 jar. (7 oz.) Kraft marshmallow creme
2 envelopes Black Cherry Kool-Aid Mix
Combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk in heavy saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes, still stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add marshmallow creme and white chocolate chips. Stir until well blended.
Remove 1 cup of mixture and dissolve the 2 packages of Kool-Aid, stirring well.
Line a 9 by 9-inch or 9 by 12-inch pan with parchment paper or grease pan with butter.
Spread first mixture into pan. Spoon flavored mixture over the top. Swirl with fork or knife. Cool completely before slicing.
