Taste of Blount set for Sept. 17.

It’s almost September and that means Taste of Blount is coming to downtown Maryville.

The eighth Annual Taste of Blount County will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 17. The event theme will be “The Art of Food” and will be held in the parking lot across from Sullivan’s on West Broadway Avenue.

Restaurants participating will include Buffalo Wild Wings, Chick-fil-A, Chili’s Grill and Bar, Domino’s Pizza, El Jimador Mexican Grill, Food City, Full-Service BBQ, Honey Baked Ham, Lemon Grass Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar, Kathy’s Deli, Kroger Alcoa, Lenny’s Subs, Marble Slab Creamery, McAlister’s Deli, Panera Bread, Puleo’s Grille, Quiznos Subs, Royal Oaks Event Facility, Something Savory Bakery and Café, Sweet Celebrations, the Market, The Miles Family 411 Restaurant and Vienna Coffee Co.

Tickets to the event, which sold out last year, are $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members and $15 for children 17 years old and younger and college students. Purchase tickets at the Chamber, 201 S. Washington Street, Maryville.
