AnimalWorks announces free spay/neuter service

For a limited time only, qualified Blount County residents can have their pets spayed or neutered for free at AnimalWorks.

Grant funding is allowing AnimalWorks to offer $0 co-payments for spay/neuter services to Blount County residents who meet income restrictions. The $0 co-payment spay/neuter procedures include free rabies vaccinations.

This plan is in effect through May 15. To schedule a spay/neuter procedure, call AnimalWorks at 865-379-2227.

AnimalWorks’ low-cost spay/neuter clinic and Alcoa adoption site is at 3377 Regal Drive behind West Chevrolet off Alcoa Highway. AnimalWorks also operates pet adoption centers in the Petsmart stores in Alcoa and at Deane Hill in Knoxville.
