O’Charley’s tests new menu items with ‘Limited Time Only’ menu

O’Charley’s, a casual-dining restaurant chain with 244 locations in 20 Southeast and Midwest states, has announced a new Limited Time Only “Springtime Sensations” menu, which presents four new items, to be available from April 6 through May 31.

The new menu offerings range from the California Shrimp Salad to the Caribbean Combo, which features six ounces of tender hand-sliced sirloin marinated in teriyaki sauce, six large coconut shrimp with mango-chili sauce, both to enjoy with the new Tangerine Colada or Cabo San Rita. The California Shrimp Salad, a variation on O’Charley’s popular California Chicken Salad, features sautéed Cajun-spiced shrimp, strawberries, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, dried cranberries and bleu cheese crumbles served atop fresh spring mix and crisp romaine lettuce.

According to Jeff Warne, O’Charley’s concept president, “Guests get to savor unique, craveable flavor combinations at prices that show O’Charley’s understands the importance of delivering value too.” The new menu items range in price from $5.99-$13.99.

The new “Spring Sensations” menu items are the California Shrimp Salad, the Classic Cuban sandwich, the Caribbean Combo, and the Ooey Gooey Hershey’s S’Mores dessert.

O’Charley’s runs five Limited Time Offer menus a year to try out new flavor combinations that match guest preferences with the hottest menu trends. Each LTO menu is available for either eight or nine weeks.

“After each Limited Time Offer, we evaluate their appeal and performance and then include our guests’ favorites in our permanent menu,” Warne explains. “Our culinary and beverage teams are constantly challenged to create new, leading edge, food and drinks, and as a result, our guests count on the variety and flavorful adventures we consistently offer.”
