Maryville attorney and Blount County Bar Association president Stephen S. Ogle has joined the District Attorney’s office.
Ogle was sworn in Monday morning to replace General Sessions Division IV Judge Robert Headrick, the assistant attorney general who the Blount County Commission named to fill the seat vacated when Judge David Duggan was elected to the Blount County Circuit Court Division II.
A West Knoxville native, Ogle is a Bearden High School graduate. He earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee before he obtained a law degree at the UT School of Law.
Immediately following law school he worked for Crawford, Crawford and Newton Law Firm in Maryville, moved to Nashville with his wife to practice law and then returned five years later to Maryville where he has had his own law practice.
Ogle and his wife, Sherry, have three children, Joey, Jake and Sarah.
