The Blount County Association of Realtors, in conjunction with The Dixie Iron Riders, will host a benefit Motorcycle Show and Ride on Sunday, Sept. 28. One hundred percent of registration revenue will go to The Oncology Department of East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
The ride will be in memory of Emily Barger and Maddie Harrill, who recently lost their battle with childhood cancer.
The event will be held on the grounds of the Parkway Drive-In on Highway 321 in Maryville. The event schedule is as follows:
10 a.m. – Swap meet
12:30 – 2 p.m. – Rider registration
2 p.m. – Ride begins
3:30 – 5:30 p.m. - Celebration featuring local band Middle Finger.
4 p.m. – Motorcycle show on the grounds of Parkway Drive-In
5 p.m. – Show winners announced
The starting and ending point of the ride will be the Parkway Drive-In. The entry fee is $15 per motorcycle which includes ride, one free T-shirt for the first 50 registered riders and live entertainment.

Enter both the ride and show for only $5 more, for a total of $20.
Coolers are permitted and concessions will be provided for purchase by the Parkway Drive-In. The general public is invited to attend all activities of this event.
Emily Barger, the featured child for the Children’s Miracle Network in 2007, and Maddie Harrill both lost their battle with a rare form of childhood cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma during the summer of 2008. It is a form of cancer that only affects children.
