On Saturday, Oct. 18, Ora and June Ackerman gave a Players Reception for the new community theater group, gathering together friends and theater-lovers for a fun and profitable evening at their Royal Oaks home. Guests were introduced to the new group, who put their talents to an early test with performances to entertain. It was a “FUNdraiser” said June Ackerman, and a chance for the community to get excited about this new community theater group.
