Area 15 Special Olympics athletes compete in bowling event

Special Olympics Bowling

It was two days of bowling fun and competition at the Thunderworld USA in Maryville recently when Special Olympians from throughout the area gathered. Special Olympics athletes from Blount County, Alcoa and Maryville City Schools competed in the annual bowling event on Sept. 24 and 25. A total of 225 athletes competed in the two-day event.
