FurlNestled under the shade at the back of the Nawger Nob shopping area, crowds milled around, watching demonstrations and visiting booths featuring everything from traditional blacksmithing to modern-day bead necklaces. There was something for everyone at the Nawger Nob Craft Fair Sept. 26-28, as vendors pulled in loyal customers of their own as well as visitors to the Townsend Heritage Fall Festival and Old Timers’ Day. Locals turned out, too, especially on Sunday afternoon, when many neighbors could be seen visiting as well as shopping.
The craft fair is an annual event for Nawger Nob and features crafts, fine jewelry, seasonal items, food, demonstrations and music.
