Broadway Galleries puts art in prime space in downtown Maryville

A treat for art lovers is located right in the heart of downtown Maryville. The Broadway Galleries opened Oct. 23 in the lower level of Preservation Plaza on East Broadway Avenue.

Katie Kinney manages Preservation Plaza. It was she and building owners Doug and Teresa Horn who opened the gallery as a way to focus on local artists and also give students at Maryville College and the University of Tennessee a place to show their work

“We have so many talented artists in so many different mediums,” Kinney said. “The goal of this particular gallery is to be a full-time gallery.”
