It was a day of poetry and fun recently as the winners of the annual GFWC Chilhowee Club Poetry Contest were invited to the club to read their poems. Students in the Maryville, Alcoa and Blount County school systems competed. The contest was divided into four categories. Division I was students in grades 1 to 3, Division II was students in grades 4 to 6, Division III was students in grades 7 and 8 and Division IV was students in grades 9 through 12.
