Wine and cheese reception is celebration for salon opening

Eiren Petersen wanted to show off her new shop, so she planned a Wine and Cheese Open House at her new salon at 904 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway. Friends, customers and family responded, and more than 70 showed up for the party. “We had a very successful open house,” said Petersen, “And I want to thank everyone who came.”

Special guests at the party were representatives from the Southern Institute of Permanent Cosmetics and Alameda Beauty College where Eiren does Continuing Education Classes on a variety of beauty and hair topics.

The shop is open Mondays through Saturdays. It specializes in all aspects of hair, says Eiren, including “full color, full weaves, cuts and colors, perms, waxings, permanent eyeliner, eyebrow liners and full lip tint.

Among the many attending the open house were Whitney Cox, Cyndi Medley, Angie Galyon Kirby, Sonya Christopher, Martha Galyon, Flora West and Brandi West.
