If two servings were a good idea, would three be even better? The answer was “Yes” at the Dragon Pit, a new restaurant on Highway 411 South. They opened to serve breakfast and lunch, and have now expanded to dinner.
The more, the merrier for this business with a varied menu that caters to families, motorcycle travelers and friends out for a good meal. The Dragon Pit menu offers breakfast fare of omelettes done five ways, pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy and build-your-own biscuit sandwiches with your choice of egg, cheese and meats. And, if you are in hurry, you can grab a breakfast burrito for for 99 cents.
Lunch and dinner offerings give Dragon Pit diners a wide choice, from their signature wings -- get ‘em “idling,” “cruising” or “screaming” -- to burgers, soups, sandwiches, quesadillas and salads.
The Grand Opening Celebration was a festive atmosphere for customers, with Dave Landeo and Phil Williams joining in the fun and activities for the children, as well as prizes and give-aways for the adults.
