Coffee and Conversation’ events planned for Saturday

Rep. Overbey stopped at Law’s Brick Mill Market to share breakfast and conversation with constituents last Saturday. Overbey talks with Matthew Cooper and Brick Mill owner Keith Law.

Rep. Doug Overbey (R-Maryville) he will hold additional “Coffee and Conversation” events across Blount County on Saturday morning, March 8.

“I thoroughly enjoyed hearing from constituents this past Saturday morning and look forward to additional conversations this coming Saturday,” Rep. Overbey stated.

Overbey said the events offer a direct way to connect with constituents and continue his on-going efforts to be as available and accessible as possible to constituents. “I enjoy getting out and hearing from constituents about their concerns and ideas,” stated Rep. Overbey. “These events are informal settings where all constituents are invited to come and just let me know what’s on their mind. I look forward to seeing everyone there.”

• 9 a.m. - E-Z Stop #22/Exxon, 2428 E. Lamar Alexander Hwy., Maryville

• 10 a.m. - Plantation Market, 2758 Sevierville Rd., Maryville

• 11 a.m. - Five Point Restaurant, 1420 E. Broadway Ave., Maryville.
