Play golf at Lambert and help Heritage High School

Local golfers are invited to play in the first annual Heritage High School Athletic Field House Golf Tournament, Monday, June 23, at Lambert Acres Golf Course in Maryville. The tournament is a fund-raiser to help build an athletic facility for Heritage High School.

Corporate and individual hole sponsors are needed, with marketing packages available starting at only $100.

The tournament features shotgun starts at both 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and refreshments will be available during play. Cash prizes will be offered to the top golfers, as well as numerous other prizes for longest ball, closest to the pin and straightest ball. Golfers will also have chances to win cash, vacations or new sets of clubs.

The registration fee is $75 per player or $300 per foursome. All proceeds will benefit the efforts of the Heritage High School Athletic Booster club to construct a long-overdue athletic training facility.

Lambert Acres Golf Course, 3402 Tuckaleechee Pike in Maryville (just off Lamar Alexander Boulevard) is a Don Charles designed course playing to 6,480 yards. It features a 27-hole layout in a beautiful mountain setting.
