Dr. Gretchen Laws, DVM, of Knoxville has opened a large animal ambulatory practice serving the East Tennessee region.
In March 2008 she began offering veterinary services to equine and cattle owners in Knox, Blount, Loudon, Roane, Morgan, Anderson, and Union Counties and the Cumberland Plateau. Her practice provides preventative health care, dental care, minor surgery, lameness, medicine, reproductive and emergency services for horses, cattle, sheep and goats. Dr. Laws has special interests in ruminant herd health and equine dentistry.
Dr. Laws served in 2007-2008 as clinical instructor on the Large Animal Field Service faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her DVM at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and later served as field services intern at UT. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
