Three boutique clothing shops -- two in Maryville and one in Knoxville -- brought a bouquet of summer to Townsend on May 22 when The Hearing and Speech Foundation held their first luncheon and fashion show fundraiser.
Held during May, which is Better Speech and Hearing Month -- the participating stores that brought summer’s newest hits to the forefront were Boyd Thomas Clothing for Men and Women, Razberries and, from Knoxville, Elle Boutique.
Venue was the Barn Event Center of the Smokies in Townsend. Patrons dined on a delicious meal catered by the Barn Event Center chef, snatched up door prizes and learned more about how the Hearing and Speech Foundation works to help those with hearing loss in East Tennessee.
It was an afternoon of high fashion and high fun on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies.
The Hearing and Speech Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for nearly thirty years supporting neighbors in East Tennessee who need hearing aids and speech services.
