The Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center’s Sunset Concert Series presents the Jeff Barbra & Sarah Pirkle Band on Friday, Aug. 1, at 7 pm. This is the fifth and concluding concert of the summer series presented in the outdoor amphitheater of the Heritage Center. Two more concerts are scheduled in October.
The acoustic music of the Jeff Barbra and Sarah Pirkle Band is seasoned with the distinctive flavors of bluegrass, old time, classic country, and modern folk. Solid original compositions and strong lead vocals and soaring harmonies make up the heart and soul of this Americana band, led by the husband and wife duo of Jeff Barbra on guitar and Sarah Pirkle on fiddle. The couple makes their home in nearby Walland, Tennessee, and they have been regulars on the East Tennessee music scene for over a decade.
