Blount County General Sessions Judge David R. Duggan, Republican candidate for Circuit Court Judge Division II, announced recently that he ha signed the Tennessee Bar Association’s suggested Code of Conduct in his judicial campaign.
The Association announced its program and Code of Conduct on June 30, and asked judges and judicial candidates to agree to sign the document, which is aimed at preserving public faith in the integrity of the justice system.
“It is critically important that judicial campaigns be conducted in a matter that promotes confidence in our judiciary, and not in a manner that erodes that confidence,” Duggan said as he signed the pledge.

I am very glad to hear that. Perhaps now Mr. Duggan will correct the misinformation given by his supporter, Judge Young, about his opponent, Mike Meares and his efficiency at handling the cases the come before him.
