Cockrill appointed to Blount Memorial Board

David Cockrill has been appointed to the Blount Memorial Hospital’s board of directors. Cockrill was appointed by the City of Maryville.

Cockrill is an architect and president of Cockrill Design & Planning. He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 1980, and is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Blount.

The Blount Memorial Hospital board of directors is comprised of nine members who serve three-year renewable terms. Four directors are appointed by the Blount County Commission, two by the City of Maryville, two by the City of Alcoa and one by the Board of Trustees of Maryville College.

In addition to Cockrill, the Blount Memorial Hospital board of directors includes Robert P. Redwine, president; Dr. Ted Flickinger, vice president; Jim Fiegle, Francis Gross, Ed.D., Robin Haynes, Susan Keller, David Pesterfield and Clarence Williams.
