The Blount County Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 48-year-old Maryville man who went missing from a group home more than two weeks ago.
The man, Ronald Richard Breeden, age 48, who resides at the Whispering Pines Group Home, walked away from the home between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on June 30. Breeden is mentally handicapped and takes prescription medications, which he has been without since his disappearance.
Breeden is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 218 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair with balding on top. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. He was also carrying a brown blanket.
Breeden has walked off from the group home on prior occasions, but has always returned within a couple of days. He has traveled to Knoxville in the past.
