Celebrating Dandy Lions Gifts first year in business are, from left, owner Joy Carver, Stephanie Bales and Sarah Hickman. Carver and her staff welcomed customers and other guests to enjoy birthday cake during the celebration on June 27 as part of the Last Friday Art Walk.
The business was opened in the Harper Building, a structure on Church Street that formerly housed the Blount County Chapter of the American Red Cross, in July of 2007. The store is a premier gift and stationary shop.
