Vote early, but not on MLK holiday

Early voting in Blount County will be closed on Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Administrator of Elections Libby Breeding said the polls will be closed at the Blount County Courthouse and at Everett Recreation Center.

Early voting began Jan. 16 and will run through Jan. 31.
