The Maryville High School wrestling team competed against teams from North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Tennessee when they journeyed to Marion, Va., for the Brutal Clash 2007 Invitational.
The competition was Dec. 21-22. The team finished first in the Hard Knox division and brought home the gold.
