Melissa Sizemore
Registered nurse Melissa Sizemore has been named director of nursing at the Blount Memorial Transitional Care Center at MorningView Village. Sizemore has been employed at the hospital for 20 years.
In her new position, she will be responsible for patient care delivery, staffing, personnel development and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Sizemore received an associate degree in nursing from Walters State Community College in Morristown. She is a certified instructor for basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support, and she is an associate member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
She also is a member of the Blount County Advisory Board.
