Editor’s note: The pairings for the Region 2AAA boys basketball tournament were not determined until Wednesday night, after Blount Today had gone to press. The champions and runners-up in Districts 3 and 4, respectively, will host quarterfinal games. If defending state champion Maryville defeated Bearden in the District 4 title game, the Rebels would host the Powell/Clinton loser. If the Bulldogs won, Maryville would host the Powell/Clinton winner.
Oak Ridge and Karns met for the District 3AAA championship on Wednesday. All quarterfinal tipoffs Saturday are 7 p.m.
