Bringing the 2007 season to a close was reason for a little celebration by the folks at Mountain Raceway as they saluted the season champions and inducted the 2007 Hall of Fame winners with a banquet in Knoxville at Ramsey Banquet Hall. Nine were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

What a way to put an end to a already great 2007 season but with an awesome banquet at the Ramsey Banquet Hall in Knoxville,TN to honor the Top 10 drivers in each class and 2007 Hall Of Fame inductees. The night started off with one of four video presentations showing the transformation the went track has been thru in one year. After that a great dinner was provided for everyone. Next up was the 2007 Hall of Fame inductions, the 2007 Hall Of Fame inductees were Arthur Huskey, Jim 'Chew' Miller, James 'Whistle' Phillips, Woody Bryant, Clay Kelly, Jack Trammell, Scott Holcomb,George 'Swap Rat' Long and Track Founder Earl Orr.
Before we handed out the Championship awards there were a few surprise awards handed out to drivers. Hard Lick of the Year- Mark Douglas for his hard crash in the last Advance Thunder series race of the season, Best Appearing Car- Tony Martin, Hard Luck- David Crabtree, Sportsman award- Jeff Franklin, Most Improved Driver 2007- Hunter Best. Next it was time to honor our 2007 class Champions Sportsman Latemodel Mark Rosner, FWD Daniel Lawson, Modified Mini Kendall White, Mini Stock Bryan Courtney, Street Stock David Price, and Super Latemodel Bobby Giffin.
