Around 60 people attended the Dec. 4 open house at Wellington Place, an assisted living community in Maryville. The goal of the open house, which is held annually, is to renew community awareness and to draw new clients and even new physicians and employees to the center. This year’s event featured wine and hors d’oeuvres, complemented by live music from harpist Linda Stutzenberger, a frequent visitor to Wellington Place. Guests were able to learn more about the facility, meet staff and residents, and enjoy the refreshments. Wellington Place provides personalized assisted living, Alzheimer’s and dementia care to its residents, as well as a variety of amenities like a library, a beauty parlor/barber shop, and a recreation and activity room.
