Townsend celebrated its annual Christmas parade on Dec. 7 with the theme of “Twas the Night before Christmas.”
The parade began at Nawger Nob at 7747 East Lamar Alexander Parkway and ended 1.2 miles down the road at Little River Railroad at 7327 East Lamar Alexander Parkway.
Floats were judged in the Large Float, Small Float and Horse or Pony and Rider categories. The small float category included motorcycles, golf carts, tractors, automobiles, horse-drawn vehicles and decorated four-wheelers.
