Bike ride canceled

The Pedal to the Battle bicycling event previously planned for tonight's Alcoa-Maryville football game has been canceled due to unresolved safety concerns. There will be no safety patrols on the Greenway or on the streets and no provisions at Maryville High School to accommodate bicycles.
