Come help celebrate Harley-Davidson’s 105th anniversary Sunday, Aug. 24 at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell (SMHD) at the Maryville location. This event is sponsored by Miller Lite and entertainment is provided by Steel Horse Law, a law firm that caters towards motorcyclists’ legal needs.
SMHD has been selected from a chosen few to be a feeder stop for riders throughout the Southeast who are making their way to the Milwaukee celebration that will occur the last weekend of August. SMHD wants to make sure that those who cannot make it to Milwaukee don’t miss out celebrating the 105th by attending this free event. For those who do get to make the trip home to Milwaukee this is the perfect opportunity to get the party started a little bit early.
The entertainment for the night features Jamie McLean with Bootleg Soul. Bootleg Soul will kick off the evening with rock-blues. The headliner, Jamie McLean, is most widely known as the guitarist for the New Orleans jazz, funk institution The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Having always been a songwriter, singer and front man, Jamie began to focus on his roots and in the early part of 2004 he formed his own group the Jamie McLean Band. Jamie’s music is rich with rock and roll, dirty blues, and beautifully crafted original songwriting.
Miller Lite will have their Miller Lite interactive/lounge truck on-site and Steel Horse Law will have an information booth for riders. As always there will be great food and cold drinks provided by Holford catering and Miller Lite for purchase.
